Day 1: Depart from the Midwest Conference Center and travel to Wausau, WI and visit the River District. Later, a stop at the 45 X 90 Geographical Marker places you at the Center of Earth! This afternoon, arrive at our home for 3 nights, the Hotel Chequamegon in Ashland, WI. A welcome dinner awaits while you explore this lakeside property along Lake Superior. After dinner, relax on the deck watching the beautiful sunset.

Day 2: Today, visit the Northern Great Lakes Visitor Center where you'll find interactive exhibits, two movie theaters, a five-story observation tower, boardwalks and interpretive trails, an art gallery, a gift store, and much more! With insight gained, day's activities are ready to commence! This area, known as The Fruit Loop, is filled with berry and apple orchards along with wineries. We'll visit a few and be able to compare varieties! Enjoy lunch at a historic 1890's Victorian Mansion. This evening, relax in town or at our beautiful property.

Day 3: Today, our coach boards the ferry to Madeline Island, the Apostle Island's only year round inhabited island. This fully guided tour will share the 300 year island history with a tour of the village of LaPointe, lunch, a visit to the historic Catholic Mission cemetery, a stop at Woods Hall Craft Shop, a stroll along Lake Superior shoreline and free time on the Island.
