Learn about that great city of Memphis and reminisce in the Rock n’ Soul Museum. Enjoy Beale Street and see those infamous little ducks who reside in the penthouse of the Peabody Hotel! See Danny Thomas’ St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Visit Tupelo, the birthplace of Elvis Presley including the museum, childhood church, home and tour the famous Tupelo Hardware Company where Gladys Presley bought her son’s first guitar.
Then it’s off to St. Louis to explore Grant’s Farm—the Busch family estate that was once owned by Ulysses S Grant. Enjoy a private tram tour through the wildlife preserve and get up close and personal with their gentle giants, the Clydesdales. Once back in Illinois, we’ll enter the Lincoln Presidential Museum for a most memorable experience followed by lunch and a presentation by a historian and showing of artifacts kept “in the vault.”
