DESCRIPTION:

Day 1: Heading East. Our adventure begins as we travel through Ohio with an overnight in Clarion, Pennsylvania.

Day 2: Broadway. Today, we arrive at our hotel and have time to unpack and relax before heading into NYC for dinner and a Broadway show!

Day 3: Manhattan. There is no better way to begin our tour of this exciting city than by seeing it from above. The Top of the Rock is located in the heart of Rockefeller Center and has the most breathtaking views in the city. Later, we’ll meet our guide for a tour of Manhattan and it’s iconic sites. Visit and experience the Cathedral of St John the Divine, the world's largest cathedral. Camera’s ready for Times Square, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, Central Park, Fifth Avenue, the Garment District, Madison Square Garden and so much more!

Day 4: Lower Manhattan. Get a glimpse into New York’s immigrant heritage and how it is shaping the city today. Visit Little Italy, where cafes evoke memories of this once thriving immigrant community and authentic local shops, some over 100 years old, still offer fresh mozzarella, salami, gelato and pastries. Visit Chinatown, one of the largest concentrations of Chinese in the Western Hemisphere. Enjoy time in a Chinese Market, with the same goods you might find in any Chinese city. Explore the neighborhoods and learn the history of the Lower East Side’s mass immigration and large Jewish community. Greenwich Village, once a Bohemian enclave, has become one of the city's most attractive and interesting neighborhoods. A visit to the 9/11 Memorial reminds us we are all one no matter where we originate.

Day 5: Land of Liberty. Today, we will take a ferry to Ellis Island and the Statue of Liberty with our guide to learn the history of immigration to New York, how Ellis Island came to be the principal entry point for immigrants to the United States, its total abandonment and eventual restoration. Afterwards, visit the 9/11 Museum which tells the story of 9/11 through archives, interactive technology, narratives and a collection of artifacts. Tonight, visit the newly built American Dream Mall, third largest mall in North America.

Day 6: We begin our journey home with an overnight stay in Cleveland and an optional casino visit!

Day 7: Northlake. Before arriving home, we’ll have a
chance to stop at the Shipshewana Flea Market in Indiana for shopping and a bite to eat!
