Explore these historic coastal cities known for their elegant Southern architecture, cobblestone streets, picturesque squares shaded by moss-draped oak trees and hospitality!

Day 1: It’s off to experience southern charm in the historic cities of the south. A visit to the nearly original Colonel Sanders Chicken restaurant provides time to explore the museum!
​
Day 2: Today, we check into our hotel in the Historic District of Charleston where history lies right outside the door. Enjoy the walkable district lined with shops and cafes. Perhaps visit the Nation’s first museum, The Charleston Museum, built in 1773 and located next to our hotel. A delicious welcome dinner awaits.
​
Day 3: Let us introduce you to Charleston with a guided tour and visit to the Battery and the Citadel. Free time at the Charleston City Market provides a chance to pick up that special something. Visit the Magnolia Plantation & Gardens before enjoying a delightful dinner cruise on the Spirit of Carolina.
​
Day 4: We depart for Savannah, the Grande Dame of all cities! Board the Old Town Trolley for a private overview tour of this beautiful historic district and the unique city layout of squares and parks. Afterwards, enjoy time on your own for lunch and continue your exploration. Stroll to Chippewa Square for a selfie
where the Forest Gump bench was located. An ice cream social at our hotel tops off our day.

Day 5: Today is filled with fun and learning! Take a cooking class and sample your work with lunch at Chef Darin’s Kitchen Table. Visit the Mercer-Williams House, built for General Hugh Mercer, great-grandfather of celebrated songwriter Johnny Mercer. A stop at the Savannah Bee Company will teach you all about honeybees, beekeeping, and the impact bees have on our everyday lives and the environment. Our day concludes with a Sunset Dolphin Tour.

Day 6: As we begin our travels back north, we’ll have an opportunity to stop at the Jimmy Carter Library and Museum. Then, enjoy an evening pizza party and overnight in Nashville.
​
Day 7: We’ll finish our journey home today with wonderful memories and new friends!​
